The Kimball Art Center Members’ Pin Up Show is a non-juried exhibition and sale open to artists who are 18+ years of age. All participating artists must be KAC members. If you are already a member, you can participate by presenting your membership card. If you are not a member, you can sign-up by calling 435-649-8882, visiting the Kimball’s front desk or signing up online. Membership prices are as follows:

Kimball Art Center’s Annual Holiday Display

Find unique gifts and holiday adornments at the Kimball this season! Beautiful glass ornaments made by artists from across the country will be on display and for sale. In addition, a variety of creative, art-inspired wreaths made by the Kimball’s Young Artists’Academy will be available for purchase.

Gowns to Die For: Operatic Costumes from the Utah Symphony and Opera

This special exhibit of opera gowns is presented by the Utah Symphony and Opera Costume Shop, overseen by Rose Brown. The shop is known for its creative expertise in the research, design and creation of all its costumes.

Utah Opera designer Susan Allred discusses the Psychology of Costume Design
Thursday, August 27, 6:30 p.m.
Join the Kimball Art Center and Summit Sotheby’s as they host Susan Memmott-Allred for an art talk using the Kimball’s current exhibit, Gowns to Die For as a backdrop. Susan will discuss the art of designing costumes for various actors and their roles and also explore our personal clothing choices and the nonverbal messages that style conveys.
