Trip to LEGO® Sculptor Nathan Sawaya's Studio

Nathan Sawaya is a New York-based artist who creates awe-inspiring works out of bricks. Sawaya's art is currently touring North American museums in a show titled, The Art of the Brick, the only exhibition focusing exclusively on LEGO as an art medium. In the fall of 2009, the Kimball Art Center presented The Art of the Brick, one of its most popular and well-attended exhibitions to date. Rarely open to the public, Sawaya has more than 1.5 million colored bricks in his New York art studio. He rarely invites the public into his private studio. The final bidder of this auction item will have the opportunity to visit Sawaya in his studio, receive a sneak peak of his upcoming projects and create a small LEGO sculpture with the famous brick artist. Airfare and transportation for two to and from New York City, plus a two night stay at the luxury Carlyle Hotel on Madison Avenue in Manhattan's Upper East Side are included.
