I was just wondering where the best place to park would be to enjoy the festival. We are going to the Deer Valley Music festival that evening so somewhere with easy access to get out of the main street area?
July 30th, 2009 at 11:56 pm
Hello, Will there be food for sale at the Art Festival? Cuisine similar to Park Silly Market?
July 31st, 2009 at 8:40 am
just wondering where the best place is to park?
July 31st, 2009 at 1:04 pm
Sterling,
We have parking available at Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley. People can park at these lots and then access Main Street by waiting for public transit buses at designated stops at these parking areas. If you are attending the Deer Valley Music Festival I might suggest parking at Deer Valley, then riding the bus to Main Street. When you are ready to return to Deer Valley the bus can take you back from the Transit Center on Swede Alley.
Thanks,
Erik

Stacy,
The Festival will have food vendors available on the street with drinks available for purchase in our wine and beer gardens or from our Coca-Cola trucks. Also, a new food option for this year is to eat at participating Festival restaurants. Look for the Park City Kimball Arts Festival logo in restaurant windows. These restaurants offer a discount to Festival patrons when they show their Festival wristband.
Thanks,
Erik

We came from SE Idaho for a week long visit and just happened to be here during the art festival. It was great to see all of the neat pieces that were being displayed and talk to the artists. I remember my dad dragging me through art festivals in Jackson Hole, WY growing up so I really enjoyed going with my own family. Great job on this years festival, we will definitely return for the festival next year. Thanks!

Lucy,
We had close to 1,000 applications and 220 artists are admitted to the festival. We maintain a wait list of approximately 100 artists.

I’ve heard great things about your Art Festival, so I checked out the links to some of the artists exhibiting there…wonderful work! I’m wondering though, is it possible for you to have an online gallery of all/a selection of the artists’ work on your website? Your flickr site has photos of the events, but not so much the art. It would be nice to have a gallery of the art offered at the festival so that one could get a better feel for the excellent quality of the art without having to visit individual artist websites. Thanks!

Nik,
Thank you for your suggestion. We will look into building a gallery of art from past exhibiting artists.
