Open Studios host artists among different media in various studios, from painting and pottery to drawing and jewelry. Dates below indicate which studios are open and instructors that will attend. Students come in to work on their own projects and get advice from instructors and artists ranging from critiques, help on their work and watching demonstrations. This is a great way to network, meet new people and check out the Kimball. Each open studio $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Donations pay for artists, instructors and studios. Students can stay until 9 p.m. and must bring their own supplies or purchase them from the Studio 6 Supply Store. Please call ahead to RSVP for Open Studios. If nobody shows up after 30 minutes, and there are no RSVPs, the instructors are free to leave the classrooms.

I will think about a welding open studio for the summer. It is hard to have welding in the winter because of the snow. Thank you for the suggestion. – Jenny Diersen
