The kid's studio at the Kimball Art Center has been designed just for kids. A large variety of art supplies are available for kids to use and create paintings, drawings, mixed media, sculpture, beaded jewelry and more. Large butcher paper covered tables let the mess become art, with easy clean up. This bright studio will open up the imagination of any child with an inspiration wall to draw on and quotes from famous artist, created by the 2008-09 Young Artists' Academy. Some materials may need to be purchased for use. A wide variety of art classes, workshops and private lessons ranging from mixed media, painting, printmaking and sculpture are available for Little Picasso's (ages 1.5 to 3), Tots (3 - 4.5), Kids (5 - 10), and Tweens and Teens (11 - 17).
