On the second day, students learn to create an envelope book with a mixed media cover and embellishments.&nbsp;Each page inside of the book is made from strong envelopes to hold life&rsquo;s treasures and mementos from photographs, recipes and more. &nbsp;This class will take you on a crash course with wonderful versatility of mixed media, which you can continue to use over and over again.&nbsp;Students will learn painting techniques, transfers, mark making and assembly.&nbsp;By the last day, students will leave with two finished art journals. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to discover the creative world of mixed media and welcome to all ability levels. All materials are included.</div> <p> <!--EndFragment--></p>

<div> Come explore the studios and make 2D work.&nbsp;From painting, prints and mixed media, students can create anything they imagine.&nbsp;There is no instructor in the classroom, but children ages 1.5 to 5 are welcome to come and experiment and play with a parent or guardian who is 18 or older. Space is limited to eight.&nbsp;Each open studio is two hours long. Students can stay as long as they would like to play! Students must register at least one day in advance.</div>

<div> Learn about the pottery studio as you and a family member create hand built pottery. Students learn about the studio and then explore coils, slabs and pinch pots to create unique art. Pieces can be functional or non functional. Students finish the pieces by adding colored slips and under glazes to color their pieces. Due to drying and firing times, clay will be ready to pick up 10 days after class. An adult or guardian must accompany the child or teen in the class. Class is limited to 10 students.<span> Register at least four days in advance to reserve your space in class.</span></div>

<div> Tots create ghosts, goblins, spiders and pumpkins from clay.&nbsp;Students add coils and pinched forms to create their very own spooky sculpture or candy dish. To create the form of the monster, students will throw a small pot on the wheel. Students must be 4 &ndash; 5 and class is limited to six students. Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready for pick up 10 days after class has ended. Parents will be contacted when pieces are ready for pick up.</div>
