Create art from things you can eat. Learn how to repeat shapes and patterns using candy to dye your paper, paint melting ice cream sundaes and fruit piled tall. Experiment with sugar and salt as they form crystals and leave behind formations on your paper. Students will explore painting, drawing, printmaking and more in this class.</div>

<span style="font-size: 10pt;">Learn about the pottery studio as you and a family member create hand built pottery. Students learn about the studio and then explore coils, slabs and pinch pots to create unique art. Pieces can be functional or non-functional. Students finish the pieces by adding colored slips and under glazes to color their pieces. Due to drying and firing times, clay will be ready to pick up 10 days after class. An adult or guardian must accompany the child or teen in the class. </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Class is limited to 10 students. Register at least four days in advance to reserve your space in class.</span></p>

After a short behind the scenes of our Main Gallery exhibit, Threads of Perception by Devorah Sperber, kids will head down to the studio to create a tissue paper collage under the instruction of art center staff and volunteers.Parents can enjoy Gallery Stroll while kids are in class. Drop your kids off for a night and stroll Park City’s various Main Street galleries.Students should be between the ages of 6 and 10 for this class. Please pick up Kids at 7:30 p.m.</div>

Students receive personal attention from instructor, Joy McManaman as she describes the steps needed to make accurate depictions of the student's photos. We will also spend time learning simple tricks to realistic drawing techniques with charcoal and erasers. Space is limited. Students should register at least four days in advance to reserve their space in class.</span></p>

Come explore the studios and make 2D work. From painting, prints and mixed media, students can create anything they imagine. There is no instructor in the classroom, but children ages 1.5 to 5 are welcome to come and experiment and play with a parent or guardian who is 18 or older. Space is limited to eight. Each open studio is two hours long. Students can stay as long as they would like to play! Students must register at least one day in advance.</div>

Juanita Marshall leads this class through surface decoration techniques on clay. Students will create a design on clay and then create a plaster mold on it. In the second class, students use their plaster molds to create impressions and prints on various clay surfaces. Then add glazes, colored slips and dyes to create a unique finished piece.</div>
