The Young Artists’ Academy is an organization for students dedicated to the study and practice of the visual arts. This select group of 15 artists develop their ideas and philosophies of visual art through a variety of creative projects and community events. Students in this program enrich their portfolios and resumes, meet local artists and explore careers in the visual arts. Students participate in critiques that encourage them to learn about many different view points in art. This is an organization for students who are mature about subject matter and who work hard to advance their understanding of the visual arts.
