In 1963, armed with a Nikon, a Rolleiflex and a seven-pound tape recorder, Danny Lyon chronicled the notorious motorcycle gang, The Chicago Outlaws, in a body of work that seared motorcycle counterculture in the American psyche and became the inspiration for the film, Easy Rider.
