Peter Fillerup
Peter Fillerup grew up in Cody, Wyoming, the center of the Western Art world. His love of history and his frontier heritage is reflected in his art and designs. In addition to winning numerous gold medals and “Best of Show” awards from shows such as the American Indian and Cowboy Artist Show, and the Old West Museum Exhibit, Fillerup’s sculptures grace private and public collections worldwide. His statues have been commissioned as public monuments across Utah and the United States, including the Brigham Young Historic Park in Salt Lake City, the Universities of Kansas and Wyoming, the Biblical Arts Center in Dallas, Texas, the Philmont Boy Scout Camp in New Mexico, Soldier Hollow 2002 Winter Olympic Venue, the Wyoming Governors’ Residence, and most recently the Park City Museum.
