Katie Levinthal is thirteen-years-old.  Dr. Seuss was the inspiration for her door.  She remembers how Dr. Seuss opened her eyes to wonderful stories and her imagination. Levinthal says, “Dr. Seuss is someone who can create new places and fill them with stories or make up characters that come to life. I hope to be like Dr. Seuss because he brings joy to anyone who sees his art or reads his books, and I want to bring joy to anyone who sees my art.”
