Stacy Phillips completed most of her graduate work at the University of Miami in Florida and then graduated from Utah State University with her MFA. Phillips’ work in clay explores both the nature of femininity and the femininity in nature through form, texture and accoutrement. Her sculptures are whimsical and intense, light-hearted and challenging. Phillips’ work has been exhibited in galleries in New York, Utah and California. For the past two years, Philips has been an invited artist at the acclaimed Anderson Ranch Art Center Residency in Colorado. Phillips has lived in Park City, Utah since 1987, give or take a few adventures. She is currently maintaining a studio in Peoa, Utah.
