About the artist:

I want to build. I want to manifest my ideas and beliefs into tangible forms, and into structures that will outlive me. I create an idiosyncratic world that is both inviting and disorienting. My world is influenced by graffiti, graphic design, and traditional fine art. Often governed by strict geometry, my process involves painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, and a relentless studio practice. My work describes imagined spaces, in both two and three‐dimensional forms. I enjoy getting lost in a curiosity of materials, as opposed to a specific idea. Ideas can be restricting at times, which is why I turn to the infinities of imagined worlds. Although at times my work may address certain ideas, in the end the viewer is meant to draw their own conclusion about the work. Defining one’s own world through personal experience is an important aspect of my life and my work. As I move forward in my process, I constantly expand my non‐existent world, creating a continued sense of absence.
