Nurture your creativity this summer by taking an art class with us! Art classes are available for all ages in a variety of media such as drawing, painting, ceramics, welding, glass fusion, paper-making, printmaking, jewelry, photography, and sculpture.

NEW: All day summer art camps are available for 6-10 years olds.
Available Monday – Thursday, June 8 – August 13, 2015!

To sign up for all day art camps, register for each of the 3 classes offered weekly (indicated by "CAMP WEEK 1" etc). KAC staff will supervise lunch time and break time in between class sessions.

* Please note that no food will be provided – students must bring their own lunch and snacks.

Tweens/Teens ages 11-14 are also welcome to register for all-day art camps for an additional $50, as the extended time is not included in the class cost. Parents who would like to sign their tween/teen up for all day summer camps should register for the 3 classes provided per week and call the front desk at 435-649-8882 to enroll for the all-day session.

Tots (Ages 3 – 5 / Pre- School)

Tots classes are offered for children ages 3 – 5 and help children develop fine motor skills. Students experiment with color, texture and patterns while building their imagination. A parent or guardian over 18 must accompany their Tots in the class.


Kids (Ages 6 – 10 / Elementary School)

Kids classes are offered for children between the ages of 6 to 10 who want to learn and explore the vast field of visual arts. Students learn new techniques and build up their skills in each class! SUMMER CAMPS NOW AVAILABLE!


*Some classes for Kids may be for 7 to 10 year olds only.

Teen & Tween (Ages 11 – 16 / Middle & High School)

Teen classes are for students who are 11 – 16 years old who want to explore and excel in the arts. In each teen class, the instructor works with students to achieve more advanced projects and learn how to take their artistic skills to the next level! Some classes are specified for teens 14+. Family (All ages – parent/child classes)

Family Classes are for students of all ages. Cross-generational classes are a great way to spend quality time with your family or friends. In each class, students work individually as well as collaboratively with others.


Adults (Ages 17 +)

Adult classes and workshops are offered over the course of one day to eight weeks and are for beginning to advanced level students. The Kimball Art Center offers a wide variety of both classes and workshops for the busy adult schedule, offering daytime, evening, and weekend classes at various price points.


*Teens who are 15 and older may inquire and ask for permission to participate in adult classes.

Instructors – 
The Kimball Art Center hires local, regional and nationally known artists to instruct all courses. Currently the Kimball works with over 60 instructors a year to provide top quality and unique classes for the community and our visitors.
